APPSC EEO Grade III - Basic Information | Scale of Pay, Age, Qualifications and Eligibility, and Age Relaxation

A career as an APPSC Endowment Executive Officer (EEO) Grade-III is indeed a unique blend of administrative "Service" and "Spirituality," as it involves managing the day-to-day operations, finances, and religious traditions of Hindu temples and charitable institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

Before starting your preparation, ensure you meet the fundamental eligibility criteria for the post of Executive Officer (EEO) Grade III in A.P. Endowments Subordinate Service.

Post and Scale of Pay

  • Post Name: Executive Officer Grade-III in A.P. Endowments Subordinate Service.
  • Scale of Pay: ₹25,220 – ₹80,910 (Plus applicable state government allowances).
  • The Role: You will serve as the administrative pillar of Hindu Religious Institutions, ensuring the preservation of traditions and efficient temple management.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Educational Degree: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in India.
  • Religious Requirement: Candidates shall profess Hindu Religion as per section 29 (3) of Amendment Act No.33 of 2007 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act 1987 (Act No.30 of 1987).

Age Limits & Relaxations (As of 2026)

The standard age range is 18 to 42 years (with cut-off dates typically set to July 1st of the notification year). However, the following relaxations apply to the upper age limit:

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PBD) 10 Years
Regular A.P. State Govt. Employees Up to 5 Years (based on length of service)
Ex-Service Men / N.C.C. Instructors Service length + 3 Years
Retrenched Census Dept. Employees 3 Years (min. 6 months service)

Note: Employees of Corporations, Municipalities, and Public Sector Undertakings are generally not eligible for the "State Govt. Employee" age relaxation.
